A few months ago, I noticed the length of my pilus was starting to become very dry. I knew I needed some sort of exit-in treatment, however, because my pilus is so fine in texture and is prone to oiliness, I was worried well-nigh products would get out it too greasy. But then I read the It's A 10 Lite Miracle Exit-In Product was designed specifically for people with fine textured hair! Win!
Simply then I realized if I really wanted to practice an in depth review, I would need to compare it to the Original formula. And then I bought a little bottle of the Original likewise!
The verdict:
I love them both. And I use them both. In different scenarios. I have been using both products for virtually two months now. Oh, and any fourth dimension I utilize these sprays my boyfriend always comments on how soft my pilus feels – that's gotta be proof it works, correct?! 🙂
Original Formula:
While this formula is the thicker of the 2, it doesn't weigh my pilus down like I worried it would. However, I have found information technology can be too heavy on the days that I use a super moisturizing shampoo/conditioner (like Redken All Soft) and it leaves my hair looking very stringy.
On the other paw, when I utilize a regular shampoo/conditioner that isn't designed to moisturize, I find I always reach for the original formula to add extra hydration and silkiness to my hair.
Also worth noting, I never spray this anywhere nearly my roots. I just use it on the length of my pilus. Also, subsequently applying and combing through, I find that my comb is super glace from the product. I have to launder the comb before I use it once again.
Light Formula:
I use the Lite formula on the days when I've used my super moisturizing shampoo/conditioner. It gives just plenty moisture to make my hair feel super soft, shiny, and hydrated.
If I use this production when my hair is feeling extra dry, I find it doesn't take quite enough moisture to create the silkiness I desire. And again, I but spray it on the length of my hair.
I also prefer the olfactory property of the lite formula. Not that the original scent is bad, but the Low-cal version is a little more fresh smelling. Likewise, the calorie-free formula does not make my comb all slippery afterward combing through my pilus.
Just to compare textures, I sprayed both products into my hands. The original formula felt very luxurious. Very slick and slippery, and simply slightly thick.
The Lite version needed ii sprays to put the same amount of product in my hand every bit just one spray of the original. And it definitely felt different. In that location was no glace feeling, and information technology captivated into my peel actually speedily. If felt significantly less substantial.
In my opinion, if you have thick hair, dry out hair, and/or normal hair, I would go for the original formula. It will not let you downward.
If y'all have fine hair, oily hair, or super curt pilus (similar a pixie cut), give the Low-cal version a try. It volition notwithstanding give you great results without weighing downward your hair or making information technology greasy.
